Drivers Able to Claim Back Fines From Rogue Clampers
Motorists who feel they have been overcharged for being clamped will have the right to appeal. Independent tribunals will have the power to limit the fines. Motorists could also claim for out-of pocket expenses such as taxis or hiring another vehicle. Amendments to the Crime and Security bill currently going through Parliament will create a compulsory licensing scheme for all clamping firms.
