Motorists Hit by 2p Rise in Fuel Duty
A rise in fuel duty from 1st September hits motorists at the pumps, the third increase in the tax on petrol in nine months. The increase was announced in the April budget and Alistair Darling said these measures were essential to secure Britain’s economic future.
